Settings
The Settings dialog box is found from the main menu, at Settings - General Settings.
General
Language |
Select the language used for the program's GUI. A restart is needed. The latest Language Pack can be found here. |
Enable hints |
Enable the little yellow tooltips that explain things when the mouse cursor moves over something. |
How many previous files are shown in the file open history list. |

Undo levels |
How many times Undo works. |
Compress undo buffer |
Undo buffer compression slows down the program a little but uses less memory when editing. |
User interface theme |
Changes the color of the toolbars, splitters, tabs etc. |
Associate supported files with Moyo Go Studio |
Associates SGF, GIB, PRB, MGT, GO, UGF, UGI, NGF files with MoyoGo so that MoyoGo opens them when double-clicked. |

Click on the small triangle next to the colored button to select the annotation color. |

The characters a..z and all other user-edited annotation like territory, highlighting etc. |

Databases
The size of the database (number of games) is shown under "Created" in the third column.
Change sort order of selected database in results |
Select a database by clicking it, then click an arrow to move it up or down to change the sort order of that database in the result-list of games (visible when doing an example-pattern search with Ctrl+Alt, etc.) |

Enable free-defined pattern search for the database. ("Kombilo"-type search). |
Editor
Plain text (small SGF files) |
Recommended default. Comments are entered and displayed in ordinary, plain text. Smallest files. |
Rich text (larger SGF files) |
Text can contain fonts, colors, text attributes and images. 100% compatible with ordinary SGF but only MoyoGo can display the colors, bold, underline, italic, text justification, tables and images. |
